Left D'Escousse anchorage to start our trip to the Bras d'Or lake. We had to wait a while to enter the St Peter's canal and going through the lock, but it went well, there was no need to have a bridge opening since the clearance that day was 21 ft.

We headed to Crammond Islands where we had set up a rdv with Frances and George of Twin Cove and Sylvia and Jim of Rincon Feliz. The weather was rainy and the lake a bit choppy but once within the islands we were well protected.

We had a wonderful byob and snack sharing on the Twin Cove. We shared info, told stories, tips.. what a fun time.

On the 11th, the weather was just perfect. We took our sup out and had a great time stretching the muscles. Frances, George picked me up on their dinghy as the waves were more challenging :) Restful afternoon. Harvey fixed a few things..

We said goodbye that evening to Frances and George as they were heading next morning to St Peter's. We went on our dinghy to the Rincon Feliz and discuss plans. We agreed on a basic plan of one night anchoring and two days at Baddeck. Their guest Lisa would be leaving for her return trip to New Mexico.

the only difficulty was that we didn't have cell, or internet service..there were a few quick checks on 16 vhf to 17 to communicate.
