Arrived without problems in Lunenburg Harbour. We are at a mooring ball, we had difficulty finding it, but it was very easy to attach to. We rode our dinghy just across the harbor. Weather was quite warm, and we walked in town with an ice cream. It is a very colorful town as the old style cottages are painted bright colors, and it is touristic, but still charming. We felt a couple of big, fat rain drops but nothing more..good thing because I had opened all the boat window hatches.

We met with our friends Jim and Sylvia and another family traveling also on a Kadey Krogen like theirs. It was a very nice time talking with them over a glass of wine, muscles and cake. Jim and Sylvia are moving quickly ahead tomorrow. They will cross the Fundy bay and be in Maine, USA. We will missed them. Hopefully, next Spring.

Visited the Fisheries museum. Great place that is worth two hours plus. We learned about fishin, of course. Can't imagine the tough lives of these men fishing on a line off the boat side in high seas, trawlers became the norm later but the practice meant the depletion of cod banks. The minister of Canada who came publicly to announce in 1992 that basically the fishing industry was dead, came surrounded with body guards. Over 50 000 people lost their jobs. After the visit, we had a lunch and left the mooring .
