Left around 8h00 in a foggy St Lawrence. We are getting more adept at following a route with the radar. The weather conditions were pretty good, waves at a minimum. We had thought about going to the wall at Grande Vallée but the thought of braving wind and storm plus a possible tough tie up at the wharf convince us that stopping at Rivière at mid high tide would be best. We are glad to have done so. The area is beautiful. We walked on the beach, and did a laundry load. The restaurant was great. Our timing to return to the boat was again spot on, the heavy rain was just passing through. We had an incredible rainbow to boost. We are looking at the weather forecast for tomorrow as squall is in the forecast. We may stay another day...but turned out better after morning rain, so we continued on.
