Given the weather we wanted to be well set in Portland. Mooring there wasn't available and the cost of leaving our boat for 10 days in town was just too pricey, so we called Handy Boat Service in Falmouth Foreside and reserved a mooring ball. They close on the 10th but told us that they could have us till the 11th. So we reserved there, not cheap but more reasonable than in Portland. They have a launch boat that takes you to and from your boat, very practical.

We couldn't find a one way car rental available so looking around including a Greyhound bus:(,we were able to use our airline miles to get an afternoon flight to Philadelphia. We got a taxi to take us and now we are waiting to board. The place is packed.

Returned on Sunday 9th pm. The wedding and family gathering was very nice. Given no cars were available to return, we shopped around and ended up using our airmiles but had to leave Sunday. It worked out, and Monday morning we went to a mooring at Centerboard Yacht club. It was Colombus/Native American day and raining so no launch service, so we stayed on the boat, planning. Harvey had purchased some news connectors when we were home and it was tricky but by 7pm we had because of Harvey superbe electical skill, the battery new connector set.
