Went from Swans Island to Rockland in constant 3ft waves. Taking the outside route was maybe a bit more wind affected, although less ledges, and shoals.

We docked at the public Landing marina, right downtown.

Tuesday was visiting museum day. The art museum is a gem. There are local artists and artists like Henri, Homer, Wyeth that came to Maine to paint part of the year. After a nice lunch at Rock City Cafe, we visited the light house museum. A small but very extensive description of the light houses of Maine, the lights, the Fresnel lenses, le bells, the fog horn.

We walked out on main street, stopped to buy a cooked lobster and bottle of wine for dinner.

We moved to a mooring ball for the night, much quieter than the squeaky dock despite the occasional passing boats and wake, we slept well.
