A short 2 hours cruising to Boothbay Harbor, a bit choppy but calmed as we entered the harbor. This late in September we had our pick for a mooring ball. We stayed at Tugboat Inn marina. The dinghy dock is near and rowing to it was a breeze. No wet pants or shoes.

We walked in town, followed the historic markers, ordered a lobster for 4:30pm puck up, walked to the cove preserve for a very nice walk. We stopped on our return to town to a Grill with view on the harbor. Exceptionally, we had an early beer and tuna tartare. We picked up our lobster and back to the boat for an early dinner of lobster salad. We rowed back to the marina and relaxed in the hot tub which we had all to ourselves. Finished with a nice shower, three quarters gave us a eight minute nice and warm shower. It was so calm sleeping, that we were well rested to pursue our travel next day.
