October 12th,

Taking advantage of another nice boating conditions, we left Atlantic city at high tide at 7pm. We arrived past noon in Cape May, we tried to anchor but we were not getting the hold we needed, so our other option was to anchor by a dredging platform that was noisily operating. We chose instead to take the cape May canal at low tide and move up the Delaware river.

Before 6pm, we arrived at Cohansey cove to anchor overnight. We stayed on the same river for our first anchor of the 2023 season, on June 17th. This time we didn't go up river as the strong current caused a constant propeller turning sound.

The night on this last anchor was pretty good, as the tide and current switch, you are rocking a bit but not too bad.

I guess after many weeks at anchor you adjust your sleep tolerance:)

This morning we are heading to our home port in Delaware, where we will keep our boat for winter storage.
