Started our trip today around 10:00 am with three locks in a row, a flight, that brought us down to the Chambly Basin. This was the end of the Chambly canal. We continued North for 22 miles to the canal Saint Ours, which is its unique lock. We paid $40 to pass through and paid to stay overnight at their dock. Very nice park and lovely weather, it's a busy Sunday afternoon with picnic and strollers. We are taking it easy. The weather is predicted windier and rainier by Tuesday, may as well enjoy a rest on the fly bridge! . .and an ice-cream.
