Monday night was horrible, no sleep from the rocking, rain didn't help. We had to hold down to our cup to have coffee.

Around 10am we ventured out to set to the dinghy dock. we realized that with the strong wind one of our solar panels went off. We needed to buy additional rare earth magnets to secure it back.

We rode the free bus to Bar Harbor. The extensive bus line around the Arcadia National Park is really great, makes you want to buy LL Bean stuff. That's the point I know, but all the corporate sponsoring can have its good side. We stopped at Leary pub for lunch, walked down the very commercial, touristy main street. Nice though, and we found the architecture of the town very nice. The Ace Hardware in town is really well stocked and found the magnets we needed. We walked on the "BRIDGE" to Sand Island at low tide. Now we hadn't done our arrival declaration with the Custom and Border Patrol. Since we couldn't hail the harbor master in Southwest we were told by a boater there that we needed to do it in Bar Harbor, so we rode the bus to the ferry terminal where they are listed at, eventhough the the number on Google map was discontinued. Anyway, once at the ferry office we learned that the wind was so bad that they had canceled the Cat, and therefore there was no CBP here. A phone number was provided and once called we were directed to complete a decal application online so we could provide a decal number to our declaration. By then my phone was out of battery and I couldn't remember my password on CBP Roam app..things like that will be taken care of later. Time to take back the bus to Southwest.

ONice on the boat figured out the application to CBP and Harvey fixed the magnet issue. Time for dinner and a quieter night.
