After the museum visit in Fall River, we went for an anchoring in a well protected river off the Mount Hope Bay. We learned that we were reserved for a slip at Providence marina, so if that hadn't worked out we could stay anchored here as it is also considered an hurricane hole, meaning that it is well protected even with strong winds. We went for a swim, and relaxed. Planning to see many more boats, particularly sailboats in this area as they will stay through the storm.
